Study on the Thermophysical Properties and Influencing Factors of Regional Surface Shallow Rock and Soil in China

Thermophysical properties of rock and soil are important parameters that affect the efficiency shallow geothermal energy utilization. This paper analyzes thermophysical (specific heat capacity thermal conductivity) their influencing factors based on 6467 sample data in 24 provincial capitals, China. The statistical distributions analyzed histogram plots. Linear regression analysis is conducted to investigate correlation between lithology (classified as metamorphic rocks, igneous chemical sedimentary clastic loose sediments this study)), density, water content. results show influenced predominantly by lithology. measured values generally normal distribution characteristics. specific relatively high, conductivity other four types high. negatively correlated with positively content, whereas findings obtained study provide evidence guidelines for investigation, evaluation, development resources.
